Services
What we do
Written up the way we still write every job, on a carbon copy pad. Seven lines. No coupons, no upsell.
AC repair
Most repairs are finished on the first visit. The van carries the capacitors, contactors and fan motors that fail most out here.
New system installation
Sized with a real load calculation for your house, not a guess from the square footage.
Furnace and heat pump service
Igniters, flame sensors, heat exchangers and defrost boards, checked before the first blue norther.
Swamp cooler service and conversion
Pads, pumps and float valves every spring. When you are tired of it quitting in August, we convert the house to refrigerated air.
Duct sealing and dust filtration
Sealed returns and media filters sized for West Texas dust, so the coil stays clean.
Dust Season Tune-Up plan
Two visits a year, a coil wash after the spring dust, and priority scheduling when it is 105.
24 hour emergency service
No cooling or no heat, a Brannon picks up the phone.

AC went out on a Sunday when it was 104. Wade picked up the phone himself and was at my house in Wolfforth in forty minutes. It was a thirty dollar capacitor and he had it on the van. He could have sold me anything that day and he sold me a capacitor.
Mr. Gene put the original unit in my mother's house in 1999. His boys put the new one in last month. Same handshake, same carbon copy invoice. They hauled off the old swamp cooler from the roof and patched the hole right.
After that big haboob in March our system was wheezing. Caleb pulled the coil and showed me, it looked like a dirt dauber nest. Washed it, sealed the return, put in a real filter. Our electric bill dropped about forty dollars.
Furnace quit at 2 in the morning with a newborn in the house. They answered on the second ring and we had heat by 3:30. Did not charge me an arm and a leg for it either.

The dry line. Desert air on one side, Gulf moisture on the other. Storms fire along it every spring, the haboobs pack coils and filters with red dirt, and the swamp coolers give up when the humidity comes in late July. That is the weather we work in.
The Brannons
Gene Brannon started Dry Line in 1998. His sons Caleb and Wade run it now. Gene still comes in on Fridays.
His first Yellow Pages ad from 1998 hangs framed in the office, which is why this part of the page looks the way it does. The invoices are still carbon copy. The vans are still burnt orange over cream.
